As Alicia would say “this girl is officially “on FIRE” !!! YOSO and I are officially a family! And I am the happiest girl in the world to be a part of such a selflessly devoted team of amazing people who everyday aim to nourish a positive environment for everyone. In celebration of my new ambassador position I have created this Bananaless Vegan Blueberry Maca Smoothie Bowl, that is without a doubt deliciously creamy (despite the lack of banana) due to the add-in of this dairy-free, vegan, premium creamy coconut yogurt! A refreshingly healthy summer breakfast or snack your going to absolutely fall in love with!
A little history for ya’ll about YOSO:
Grandfather Dr. K.S. Lo was a visionary who was the first to commercialize soy milk in the 1940 in Hong Kong and founded what is known as Vitasoy International Holdings today. Father, Frank Lo, was a dairy scientist of dairy free cheese and an inventor who held two US patents dated back in 1970s. The Lo brothers (Erik & Francis) are continuing a family tradition with their business. Today, the Lo brothers strive to deliver their dairy-free, gluten free, casein-free, vegan, fermented and cultured foods to all to enjoy. Dedicated to creating nutritious and wholesome products that support our health, our community, and our planet. They continually strive to source the healthiest ingredients to acreate great tasting foods that all can enjoy. They are especially passionate about supporting there local community in Cambridge, Ontario, paying fair wages to there staff and suppliers, and reducing there waste, keeping there environmental footprint at a minimum.
How this all happened for me…???
It’s quite simple.
I posted a delicious Chia Matcha Overnight Breakfast Smoothie recipe (adapted by Cotter Crunch) and featured many of the products I used including @enjoyyoso – unsweetened creamy coconut (dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan,) yogurt. I really wanted to whip up something easy, fun, unique and tummy friendly for everyone! Coming across this jaw-dropping bowl of goodness I decided to give her a try and she really did turn out magical!
Within 5 minutes of posting the recipe, both Cotter Crunch and YOSO were thrilled to see my re-creation and left such beautiful, heart-warming comments which I then replied to with kind gratitude. I immediately sensed a connection to the people behind the blog and left a private message with an interest in any opportunity to be a helping hand to such a devoted, small family-run business. I could see such a potential for growth and willingly had the urge to work alongside them and show there greatness off to the world.
The secret to overcoming what if’s and fears in life is really quite simple.
